DirectCare provides medical services for minor, non-emergency medical concerns that may require an in-person visit with a healthcare professional. DirectCare also offers some on site point-of-care testing — basic tests that provide rapid results for immediate medical decisions. Procedures and labs that are not available at DirectCare include: X-rays, stitches, and laboratory tests that require blood draws. Additionally, DirectCare is not available for children under 12 months of age.
