CHKD's diabetes program offers comprehensive education and support, helping children, families and the community learn to live with diabetes. Our team serves as a link for diabetes care between children's families, schools and diabetes physicians. We care for children with various conditions, including the following: Type 1 diabetes Type 2 diabetes Prediabetes Patients and their families feel more confident in managing diabetes when they are educated on ways to control it. Whether your child is newly diagnosed and in need of basic information or looking for refresher courses, he or she is welcome to attend our programs and classes.
