The 559th Medical Group delivers primary and operational health care services at seven geographically separated facilities to a diverse population of 150,000 people from the 130-plus units at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. Operating at seven facilities across JBSA, the group provides care to active-duty military members, dependents and civilians, as well as basic military trainees, technical training students, and students from around the world studying at the Defense Language Institute English Language Center and Inter-American Air Forces Academy.
