North Texas Family Health is an independent family healthcare clinic that services Van Alstyne and surrounding communities. Managed by Richard Templeman, a board-certified family nurse practitioner with over 14 years of healthcare experience. Richard’s qualifications include a unique certification for opiate addiction treatment. Over one hundred educational hours applied to being Federally certified to treat opiate addiction with buprenorphine, a “partial opiate agonist” used to treat addictions to opiate pain medications and heroin. Over two years of successful evaluation, treatment, and clinical support has been recognized by SAMHSA who has allowed Mr. Templeman to be promoted to the maximum capacity available for treating patients
