Dr. Jose Llinas-Cepeda is fellowship-trained and board certified in Diabetes & Endocrinology. He is fluent in English and Spanish. Dr. Llinas received his medical degree from Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla, Colombia. He conducted his internal medicine residency training at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and the JFK Medical Center/ VA Medical Center. He completed his Fellowship training in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at the J. Maxwell McKenzie Fellowship Program at the University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Llinas-Cepeda is certified by the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists in Neck Ultrasonography (ECNU) and is a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology (FACE).
