James Keith Roland MD is a graduate of UT Southwestern Medical School Dallas 1978, and family practice residency John Peter Smith Hospital Fort Worth 1981. He began his practice in Weatherford, Texas in 1981. He delivered babies, did surgeries, set fractured bones, and treated all ages from birth until old age. In 2017 he moved to Coleman and practiced in a small clinic until it closed down in 2018. He then went to work for a corporate clinic in Brownwood but had enough of corporate medicine and retired in 2019. In 2022 a Weatherford cardiologist convinced him to get his license back and he worked in Coleman until moving back to Weatherford in 2023.
