Dr. Arentsen serves patients with a wide range of conditions (ages 16+), including ADHD, brain tumors, concussions and TBIs, dementia, epilepsy and seizures, mild cognitive changes, movement disorders such as Parkinson’s, stroke, and other conditions that affect how the brain works. He also performs pre-surgical evaluations for some procedures (e.g., Dorsal Column Spinal cord stimulation). For Dr. Arentsen, the goal of many evaluations is not simply to clarify questions about a patient’s diagnosis but may also include identifying appropriate treatment recommendations, encouraging a patient to live to his/her fullest potential, and/or commenting on some of the implications that cognitive limitations may have for a patient and his/her family.
