Dr Ronald J. Teufel II serves as an associate professor at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in the pediatric hospitalist section of the general pediatrics division. He serves as the director of the pediatric hospitalist section with research interest and training within health services research (HSR). His research interests include topics that incorporate both HSR and pediatric hospital medicine including: health information technology (HIT), quality improvement in the care of hospitalized children, and pediatric asthma.
