Mazzoni Center began 47 years ago as an all-volunteer endeavor to fight the HIV/AIDS crisis in Philadelphia. Since that time, Mazzoni Center’s services have evolved to address critical health and human service challenges facing the LGBTQ community, including primary medical care; HIV/STI testing, prevention, and care; gender affirming care; behavioral health care; legal services; housing support; and a food bank, all for a marginalized population that has few options for care and often lacks the financial ability to pay for critical services.
