A part of Duke LifePoint Healthcare, Frye Regional Medical Center is an acute care hospital serving the Catawba Valley Region. The center features the Frye Heart Center, a Duke Health heart affiliate, offering heart intervention procedures and heart care and a Brain Center offering neurosurgery and advanced care for complex brain illness and injury. Other services include general and bariatric surgery, emergency services, cancer center, advanced orthopedics, women's birthing center, neurosciences and inpatient rehabilitation. The system also includes Frye South Campus, an inpatient adult behavioral health hospital.
