At Northwell Health Pancreatic Cancer Center, our risk assessment and screening program focuses on evaluating and monitoring patients with a higher risk of developing pancreatic cancer based upon a personal history of known or suspected pancreatic cysts, an identified mutation in an inherited pancreatic cancer risk gene, or a strong family history of pancreatic cancer despite negative genetic testing. Our multidisciplinary team of experts, including surgeons, medical oncologists, gastroenterologists, radiologists and genetic counselors, offers a range of sophisticated testing for patients with a higher risk of developing pancreatic cancer based upon their specific individual risk factors.
