Dana Materia, FNP-C

Dana Materia is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She completed her Bachelors and Masters of Science in nursing from Wagner College. Since 2003, Dana has been treating patients in an in-office setting, beginning with Primary Care, and specializing in Endocrinology and the care of the Diabetic Patient for the past 11 years. She enjoys helping people manage their diabetes, as well as other various endocrine diseases. Dana focuses on patient education, and feels that it is a vital part of the health care process, as it provides patients with information about their health status and a plan toward a healthy outcome.
