The initial appointment is for screening/assessment. At this time, counseling options will be discussed and decided upon by the client and the therapist. Healing Hearts will make every effort to ensure prompt service. However, if you are in crisis, please contact Healing Hearts to arrange crisis intervention services. Adolescents and children may also be seen for therapy. A copy of custodial papers will be requested for separated or divorced couples who seek treatment for their children. Audio record counseling sessions for purposes of professional consultation may be considered, if appropriate.
