Our mission is to provide comprehensive, high-quality, primary healthcare in a respectful, culturally sensitive manner regardless of ability to pay. We also accept most insurances, including MSCAN, CHIP, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Magnolia, United Healthcare, Medicaid, and Medicare. In addition, we offer a sliding fee discount program for those that qualify. Delta Health Center, Inc. (DHC) is the first community health center of its kind. Also, it’s the first Federally Qualified Community Health Center (FQHC) in the United States. DHC is a non-profit organization that is located in historic Mound Bayou, Mississippi, where it opened its doors in 1965.
