Dr. Ahmed completed a residency in Family Medicine at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens, New York. She received her medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York. Dr. Ahmed is certified in both Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Cardiac Life Support. She is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the American College of Family Physicians, and the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council.
