We offer medically supervised long term program to improve the cardiovascular health in patients. The program is usually initiated 1-3 weeks after hospital discharge. The goal of the program is to reduce the risk of death from heart disease or the risk of other heart conditions and improve the health and quality of life for our patients. The Cardiac Rehabilitation Program at Bourbon Community Hospital assists you with a customized plan based on your needs. The plan includes exercise, nutritional counseling and educational resources--provided in a supportive environment, during informal sessions.
