Amberwell Atchison offers same day acute care appointments to ensure you can get care when you're sick. Our acute care service provides care for the following illnesses/injuries: • Coughs and sore throat • Minor allergic reaction • Fevers • Ear/sinus infection • Rashes, burns and cuts • Cold or flu symptoms • Sprains and strains Acute Care is designed to care for the above illnesses/injuries only. It is not for Urgent Care or Emergent Care. Those patients will continue to be seen in the Emergency Department. For chronic conditions, you will need to make an appointment with your primary care provider.
