Maui Memorial Medical Center (MMMC) is the only acute care hospital in Maui County. As a community hospital, it is open to all patients regardless of health insurance coverage. MMMC is also the only hospital outside of Oahu that provides a full range of cardiac services, including open-heart surgery, is Joint Commission Accredited, and a Hawaii State Designated Level III Trauma Center and certified Primary Stroke Center.
