Emory at Acworth Primary Care works on delivering preventative care and wellness. We treat acute illnesses, such as infections and flu, as well as minor injuries, such as sprains and removing stitches. We also treat and manage chronic diseases, such as diabetes and high blood pressure. Other services we offer include well child check-ups and immunizations from birth through adolescence, comprehensive physical exams, lacerations, X-rays for injury evaluation, medical evaluations in preparation for surgery, pulmonary function testing, cardiac testing, non-operative orthopedics, FAA exams, pap smears and GYN exams-colposcopy, chronic disease management, adoption physicals and surgical second opinions.
