For most people, the body heals naturally when it has a wound. But some wounds may be slow to heal, and you may require specialized treatment at our Wound Center. Non-healing wounds can occur for many reasons, including diabetes or other chronic diseases, poor circulation, nutritional status or age, and body size. Crisp Regional Wound Care treats patients recovering from diabetic, arterial, surgical, trauma, or other non-healing wounds, as well as burns and pressure ulcers. Most patients are referred after an inpatient hospital stay or from their personal physician. We also accept self-referrals. We will see patients of all ages who would benefit from wound care. Our clinic is located across the street from Crisp Regional Hospital.
