Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin's Emergency Room treats patients 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Our large Emergency Room has 20 exam rooms, including 4 trauma rooms. Upon patient's arrival, a medical screening examination is completed by an emergency room provider (MD, PA, and/or NP) within 10 minutes of their arrival. A team of physicians and mid-level providers, experienced Emergency/Critical Care nurses and other specially trained ancillary staff are available at all times. Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin contracts with the Schumacher Group to provide emergency room physician coverage.
