Dr. Nadiv Shapira is the Medical Director of First State MedSpa and First State Lipedema, in Wilmington, Delaware. His prior experience was that of a Cardiac and Thoracic Surgeon, practicing most of his career at Christiana Hospital in Newark, Delaware. In 2012 Dr. Shapira opened one of the first MedSpas in the area and became very successful in Cosmetic Medicine; doing injectables, Botox, Smartlipo® Laser Liposuction and Vein procedures. He became interested in Lipedema, a little known, but prevalent fat disorder and within just a few years has become one of the most sought out Lipedema physicians in the U.S. He treats women with all stages of lipedema from all over the United States and Canada and accepts all insurances.
