The Middlesex Health Anticoagulation Clinic is an outpatient service dedicated to managing patients on warfarin. We use a point-of-care device to obtain immediate International Normalized Ratio (INR) results using a small sample of blood from a finger prick. We are then able to adjust your warfarin doses based on the INR and other factors such as changes in diet, medications, or health.
