Salman Okour, MD, is a board-certified gynecologist specializing in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. At his private practice, Southern California Center for Advanced Gynecology, in Fountain Valley, California, Dr. Okour offers exceptional care and support to adolescent girls and women of all ages who are struggling with a wide range of gynecologic problems. After graduating from the University of Baghdad in Baghdad, Iraq, Dr. Okour completed his OB/GYN residency at Saint Joseph's University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey. During his residency, he was involved in the surgical training of senior residents. He also received the faculty residents teaching award from the Jersey City Medical Center in Jersey City, New Jersey.
