Kate Haggerty is originally from Hawaii and board certified in Preventive Medicine & Public Health. She majored in Neuroscience and Behavior at UC Santa Cruz and has always been fascinated by the human mind and mind-body connection. She received her medical degree from the University of Hawaii, followed by an internship in Emergency Medicine at Harbor-UCLA. She then completed her residency in Preventive Medicine and Public Health at UC San Diego while completing her Masters in Public Health at San Diego State University. Her practice is focused on whole-person care, improving quality of life, and optimizing overall health through the six pillars of lifestyle medicine.
