Israel Chambi, MD, FACS, is a highly experienced neurosurgeon specializing in minimally invasive spine surgery, nerve repair, and neurosurgery. Dr. Chambi now runs the Chambi Medical Clinic offices in South Gate and Santa Ana, California, the practice his beloved brother, the late Dr. Ebenezer Chambi, gifted him. Dr. Israel Chambi attended medical school at San Agustin National University Arequipa in Peru. He set his sights on becoming a heart surgeon, so after completing his medical degree, he moved to North America to complete a general surgery residency. When their grandfather passed away from a blood clot in his brain, Dr. Chambi’s brother suggested he switch his specialty to neurosurgery.
