Cardiorenal Program at Stanford Children's Health

In 2016, we established the Pediatric Cardiorenal Program, a monthly clinic in the Betty Irene Moore Children's Heart Center where patients, families, nephrologists and cardiologists work together to chart the best course forward for each of our young patients. Our multidisciplinary team addresses all aspects of care for young patients with cardiorenal syndrome, including issues with blood pressure, bone disease, fluid balance and electrolyte abnormalities. This coordinated, collaborative approach leads to better decisions and superior outcomes that benefit the patients, families, nephrologists and cardiologists.
