We specialize in consulting and performing EMG/Nerve Conduction Studies, to help in the diagnosis and treatment of certain muscle-skeletal and neurological conditions. Unlike conventional diagnostic studies such as MRI scans, CT scans, and X-rays, which are structural studies only, EMG/NCS studies are functional studies and can help further in the diagnosis and management of muscle-skeletal and neurological conditions and symptoms. A EMG/NCS study consist of two parts, one being the NCS which is a electrical conduction study of the peripheral nerves, and the EMG part, which consist of a acoustic needle evaluation of the muscles.
